Mary+Jane Review

The Cannabis World was anxious to support the new Pilot, Mary+Jane picked up by MTV Networks which debuted on Labor Day at 10:00 p.m. (EST). The Cannabis Talk Show LIVE Crew gathered together to tune in to a much anticipated Cannabis show on a major network for the public to enjoy! Applauds to MTV to lead the way… Congratulations to Executive Producers, Snoop Dogg and Ted Chung (Merry Jane Founders) for getting the nod on the pilot.

Mary+Jane is definitely catering to the recreational side of the Cannabis Industry, while also appealing to the 15-25 year old age group based on the first episode. Although, the show opens with a disclaimer, we all know teenagers (sometimes younger) age groups watch MTV! Episode 1 was filled with sexual references, profanity, and the cut-throat competition of the Cannabis Industry.

Mary+Jane’s debut episode failed to develop Jordan and Paige, the primary characters of the series. This leads the viewer to a lack of where did the conception to run a Cannabis delivery service with no background of their previous job history?

References were made by Paige that she was planning to try Event Planning, but the other character Jordan only says she has put her everything into the “Pot delivery service”. There are no scenes showing how they created the business or their clientele for their delivery service. You are left to assume maybe they come from wealthy families.

Jordan makes the mistake of sleeping with a Patient/customer during a delivery… While Paige is recovering from a broken relationship with a popular graffiti artist.

Another character, Rob the Pot Holder is the girl’s biggest competition in episode 1. The goal is to become part of Weeder LA’s, The Green 15 List, which are the 15 best cannabis services in the city. We have to assume The Green 15 list are both delivery services and brick and mortar cannabis businesses.

The highlights of episode 1 was Rob, the Pot Holder falling out of the Weeder’s LA Green 15 because his celebrity endorsement was a fake/fraud, Jordan excited to take over the Pot Holder’s position on the Green 15 list and Paige experiencing “rebound sex”,then of course hearing from her ex-boyfriend!

Episode 2 is already laid out for the viewer as Jordan and Paige will have more competition to challenge their path to Weeder LA’s Green 15 list!

Overall, the Cannabis Talk Show Live Crew gives Episode 1 of Mary+Jane a thumbs up for the Recreational Cannabis industry, but for the Medicinal Cannabis Industry, Mary+Jane gets a thumbs down!

The positive momentum of the Cannabis Industry has been because of the medicinal benefits to Patients. It is tough to persuade the non-supporters of the Cannabis Industry with the comedy shows shown to capture large viewing numbers opposed to focusing on shows that may help lift the Schedule 1 tag on the “magic plant”, CANNABIS! Especially during an ELECTION year!

MTV Networks has paved the way for other networks to pick up a Cannabis Pilot. There is a lot of diversity of Cannabis shows that have completed production that will open the eyes of the viewers to help educate and advance the positive movements of the Cannabis Industry!

Music Review: Revelation II The Fruit Of Life

When I received the Promo of Revelation II The Fruit of Life by Reggae Royalty, Stephen Ragga Marley, I informed the Marley Team that I had received the music and I would listen to it the next day then write the review.

Well, that was my intentions, I decided to play the first track while making follow-up business calls to clients and my ears were cannamazed by the sounds, lyrics, production and energy of this masterpiece by Mr. Stephen Ragga Marley! I could not stop listening!

Revelation II The Fruit of Life is a feel good conscious musical masterpiece! The 21 track compilation plus 3 bonus tracks offers the music listener various styles of roots reggae, dance hall reggae, hip hop reggae, soul reggae and salsa reggae with a powerful Intro and explosive Outro by Stephen.

Mr. Marley's two solo tracks, Walking Away and It's Alright are cannamazing roots style over the top plus the collaborations with siblings Damian & Ky-Mani give hope for a Unity Tour.

Another cannamazing tune on the upcoming release is Revelation Party with his oldest son, Jo Mersa!

The Unity Tour would be a top billboard show if all the artists performing with Mr. Marley on Revelation II The Fruit of Life joined him on tour! It would be cannamazing for the people!

Tribute to Coach...Thank YOU!

Every day is a blessing to wake up to a beautiful day with the sun shining through your bedroom window radiating positive energy to start the day!

Today, birds were singing just before dawn in Los Angeles, California. I woke up earlier than normal to the chant of chirps, a gleam of sunlight from the blue gray sky and a Cannamazing breeze through the bedroom windows... Time to start the daily routine.

Doing the normal, visit the bathroom, wash-up, brush, go grab some water, get ready for morning workout, tuned into the World and read my daily feed from the WNBA only to read the female Women's Basketball Coach Pat Head Summitt had made her transition to Heaven after a battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Wow, immediately thoughts filled my head about this Cannamazing woman that touched my life indirectly through her LOVE for the game that I and so many other people around the world LOVE, BASKETBALL!

Growing up a tomboy in the South, I loved playing sports with my cousins and the neighborhood kids. I had enough cousins to form teams to challenge anyone in the neighborhood in touch football and basketball games on a regular basis. I have to be honest, our family sport teams dominated the East Nashville neighborhoods!

Playing those neighborhood challenge games made me love sports. I fell over the top in love with basketball! My life became basketball in my world, but not so much from some people very special to me because they were afraid of the labels given to females who played sports back in the ancient years when I grew up. Some parents were apprehensive about allowing their daughters to play basketball because it wasn't considered "lady-like". Of course other stereotypical labels were mentioned, but that didn't stop me from loving the game. I wanted to learn and know as much as I could about basketball. I watched basketball constantly whenever it was on television, but only Men's Basketball. They didn't show Women's Basketball on television regularly unless it was the Olympics, but I read about the phenomenal players such as Ann Meyers, Lynette Woodard, Nancy Lieberman in the sports pages ( the only section of the paper I read). As I grew older, I heard about this great Coach who was turning the UT-Knoxville Vols Women's Basketball Program into contenders for the National Championship!

Well, Coach Head Summitt clearly was the greatest Commissioner EVER for USA Women's Basketball! She raised the bar higher than any other before her and has influenced other coaches to reach for greatness at levels to inspire female athletes to SOAR!

Thank you, Coach for giving a young girl the courage to runaway from home to Try-Out for your USA Olympic Basketball Team only to arrive at Thompson-Boling Arena minutes after the Try-Outs had ended! The young basketball player stood teary eyed and watched Coach Pat Head Summitt walk off the court into the tunnel. (Then I had to call one of my big sisters to make sure I had clearance to go back home without a punishment waiting for me!)

The young girl has continued to LOVE, study and follow the game of basketball because she was able to see a Coach master the game, evolve the game for females and to join Coach John Wooden as a Basketball Wizard!

Heartfelt condolences to Tyler and the Summitt Family, University of Tennessee Knoxville, Volunteers Alumni, Fans, Friends & Basketball Lovers of the world!

A Legend forever, RIP Coach Pat Head Summitt!

NBA FINALS REMATCH, Game 1

The NBA Finals is underway. At the half, the Golden State Warriors are leading the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Warriors are scoring with ease against a weak Cavaliers defense. Warriors are getting excellent play from their reserves while the Splash Brothers lay low for the first half with a quiet shooting half.

As for the Cavaliers, it just seems they are a little flat. The defense has been soft to this point.

In order to make this a long series, the Cleveland Cavaliers have to make it tougher for the Warriors to score. On the other hand, the Cavaliers have to shoot remarkably well to be in the game with the Warriors.

This Basketball Wizard thinks it will a short series if the Cleveland Cavaliers can't find a way to make it tougher for the Warriors to score. At this point, every Warrior player that steps on the court is confident they can score against this Cavalier defense!

Fast Forward 2026...Letter to Grandma

Dear Grandma,

Since I was 5 years old I've asked you about my parents, but you always become sad, shake your head then say nothing. Well, Grandma, I'm 10 years old now...Please don't get upset with me, but I found my birth certificate in your " Special Papers" box. I saw the names of my parents on the birth certificate then I decided to research the names on my laptop and I discovered some horrible information about the people named as my parents! They hurt innocent people! Is this why we moved from Redlands, California when I was five years old about to start kindergarten at a new school?

Grandma now I know why you always kept quiet and shook your head when I asked about my mother and father. Grandma you have always taught me to be nice to people and love them...

My parents were bad people, Grandma! I don't want their names on my birth certificate...I don't want to be like them! Please Grandma, can we remove their names from my birth certificate? Can I choose not to acknowledge them as my parents? I want to spread kindness, joy, love and happiness to people as you have shown me.

Please Grandma help me CHANGE my birth certificate...REMOVE those HATE filled names from my birth certificate. I never want to be associated with those names and their HATE!
