Warriors Take Game 1 of the NBA Finals

The Golden State Warriors outscored the Cleveland Cavaliers 10-2 in overtime to take a 1-0 lead in the NBA Finals game held at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.  The Warriors had five players score in double figures lead by the league's MVP, Stephen Curry with 26 points with his running mate splash brother, Klay Thompson adding 21 points in the 108-100 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.  LeBron James scored a career NBA Finals high 44 points on 18-38 field goals attempts.  Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star guard, Kyrie Irving suffered an injury to his left knee with less than three minutes remaining in the overtime finishing with 23 points.  Irving will undergo an MRI to assess the injury to determine if he will be ready to go for game 2 at Oracle Arena on Sunday, June 7th.
